Many of her paintings feature forms that are reminiscent of oceans or mountain landscapes. Marija works intuitively, letting her paints, inks or drawing materials guide the process, until an image dances across the paper or canvas. Her artworks represent an exploration of colour and form within the traditions of Abstract Expressionism.
